Industry Standard USA started in a Marine outpost deep in the Iraqi desert and became a general contractor in Syracuse, New York. Family-owned, veteran-owned, and building since 2010.
We take the pain out of demolition, construction, and excavation. That is the short version. The longer one starts on a Marine outpost in the Iraqi desert and runs through three generations of military service in one family.
The company began as a grounds maintenance contractor serving Army bases and national cemeteries. That is an unusual place for a general contractor to start, and it shaped everything after it. A national cemetery has to look right every day of the year — not on inspection day, every day. When you learn the trade on ground held to that standard, it changes what “finished” means to you.
From grounds we moved into full facilities maintenance, then into general construction, excavation, and demolition. Today Industry Standard USA holds prime contracts and teaming agreements with federal agencies and prime contractors across New York State, and remains a family-owned Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.
We do not just meet the standard. We set it. And we say that knowing the people reading it can go look up every contract we have finished.
